About Dick

Dick joined the New Hope staff on November 1, 2015.  Dick brings over 30 years of ministry experience to New Hope. He previously served at River Church in Norman, OK as pastor of small groups, counseling, and student ministries. His intimate knowledge of scripture, team oriented leadership, and lifelong value of relationships enables New Hope to further it's mission of pursuing relationships that change the world. He has served in student ministries at Kansas State University (6 years) and University of Oklahoma (20 years), and has been part of church plants in Kansas, Oregon and Norman. He has degrees from Kansas State University and Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon in Pastoral Education. He and his wife, Nancy, have loved ministering together for over 30 years and are blessed with their three children, spouses, and grandkids.

About Nancy

Nancy grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated in Journalism/Public Relations from Kansas State University. The Lord did a deep work in her life through her time in college. Through her 32 years of marriage to Dick she has co-labored with him in ministry and in raising their three children. Through the years of helping with college ministry, she poured into the lives of women as they walked with God. One of Nancy's favorite parts of their ministry together has been meeting with couples for pre-marital counseling. Of course, she loves spending time with their eight grandchildren as well.
