Due to the weather, we will not be having Fusion Central Tomorrow Night (December 12).  Please spread the word and contact Jeremy (jeremykrause@newhopeks.org) or the church office with any questions.

If you are a coffee lover come to Bluestem Bistro on Wednesdays and bring your friends.  The Bistro will give New Hope Church 10% of the profits on Wednesday.  Just tell the cashier you are a New Hoper!  This is a great way to fellowship with friends while giving to our church body. 

 Children have moven up to the next grade.  How this works is the child's age on Septemer 1st determines which class they will be in. 

Starting April 15th we are starting a seven week message series on Heroes: We were meant to live for so much more. Come check us out on Sunday mornings to learn about some of the great heroes of the Bible and some of our own everyday heroes in our midst.

This week we are going to tell our stories, and listen to our stories, to see how God has shaped us through our life experiences. The goals for this week are to: 1. discover how your past experiences can be used to serve the Lord and 2. share some of the experiences that have shaped who you are today Please review the important guidelines in your Leader’s Guide about how to lead your group through this look at their experiences.

As we come to the end of this journey, with our vision to understand who we are so we can become all we were created to be, the goals for this last week are to:

1. find the basic motivational direction of our hearts, and understand how that impacts our lives and ministries,
2. understand how our SHAPE fits together,
3. commit to a clear and courageous next step of application,
4. celebrate one another’s unique SHAPE before God and each other, and
5. decide what will happen to this group from here on out.

The third goal is the key to people applying all of this information about how God designed them. This is how they can make progress in becoming all they were created to be, so it is important to help them complete that step. Sometimes people have to progress through three phases for this to result in a step with real action.

This week we are looking at our Personality -- the P in our SHAPE, still in the context of the SHAPE vision: to understand who we are so we can become all we were created to be. Major goals of this session are to:

1. better understand and appreciate your own personality
2. better understand and appreciate the personalities of others in your group
3. commit to serving in your group in a way that fits you

Please ask everyone to complete their Experiences Reflection (pages 32 - 35 of the participant book) before your next meeting. However, they should try to do it after the teaching on Experiences on Sunday.

The web site has been updated to the latest version of the software running the site, Drupal 5.1. In the process, a number of other minor improvements have been made to the structure and the way the site works. Hopefully these improvements, will allow for a greater level of participation by New Hopers online.
